International Conference 60 years CMR

6 October 2016

Future proof or time for a reform?

The CMR conference dates back to 19 May 1956. In 2016, the Convention will celebrate its 60th birthday.

While 60 is a typical age for retirement, CMR is still very successful. Nonetheless, this 60th birthday offers

an ideal moment for an evaluation, to look into the weaknesses, but also into the strengths of this Convention.
